OneResearch is a free volunteer-run newsletter dedicated to making biomedical research, news, and information more accessible.
OneResearch was created by University of Florida students in August 2021. With the vision of a newsletter that publishes accurate and accessible biomedical news, research, and information, the OneResearch team began work, seeking to positively impact public scientific knowledge and awareness. At a time when public health is in crisis and Americans’ trust of the CDC and FDA is at an all time low, the OneResearch team felt that it was necessary to take action. OneResearch Biomedicine Newsletter was launched by Reed Berkowitz (Founder, President, Editor-in-Chief) in November 2021.
Our articles are written, verified, or based on works by board-certified/accredited doctors and medical researchers.
We take pride in the quality of our factual sources and always seek to publish accurate information. Details regarding authorship of specific articles can be found below the text of any article. Editorial/opinion articles are always labeled as such.
OneResearch is currently self-funded. We do not use ads or any form of sponsorship or monetization. This is due to our unwavering commitment to our readers and our shared pursuit of facts in absence of monetary influence.
Starting in February 2022, OneResearch is accepting donations to support costs associated with web hosting, web development, and content creation.
We are the volunteers who dedicate our time to fulfilling the mission of OneResearch. If you share our mission and would like to join our team of volunteers, please fill out our volunteer application.
